In the Studio

For her first appearance in the land of the “tapis tendu”, Elena Montesinos did not hesitate to cover the new exhibition venue with “assisted” fitted carpet: the symbols, set in the carpet and embroidered on textiles, the hysterical red of certain walls, all assert a radical and expansive presence which contrasts with the small, modest dimensions of the place.
