One must make a film: Flaubert would have nothing against the idea Who has never been tempted, in front of a mirror, to take on Bruce Lee, elegantly but wrathfully smash a guitar, sing YMCA with the Village People, bite Mike Tyson’s ear, or turn into Lara Croft, Goldorak, Claudette or the Unabomber ? Emmanuelle Mafille’s characters have an absent-minded, elsewhere look ; a look haunted by the power of futility and absurdity.
