One Minute Sculptures

How long does an exhibition last? When is an exhibition set in motion? At the moment of its conception? Production? Opening? Is there a before, during, and after an exhibition? Erwin Wurm as sculptures on view at the CAN only last for a minute. Anyone can activate them whenever and wherever he/she likes. They represent so many ironical limits to the inljunctions Just Do it and Toi aussi tu peux le faire !, which mimic the communication structures at work in the art world and in various advertising strategies.
